Jerome E. Kowalski, 97, of Bartlett passed away on December 23, 2020. Jerome was born on September 10, 1923 in Chicago, to Joseph and Marie Lottie. Jerome was a decorated World War II Veteran having served in the Army Air Corps as an Engineman. He was based in Burma, India during the Asiatic Pacific Campaign. There he operated and maintained the base's power and water supply. Jerome served our country from December, 1944 - June, 1946. After the war Jerome went on to work for 46 years as a line supervisor at Motorola, where he met the love of his life, Mary Skultety. The two were married July 10 ^th , 1948 in Chicago, IL.

Jerome was a very caring and loving man, who was never ending in his desire to help others. Whenever the opportunity arose he was always helping those in the neighborhood in need. Whether it was offering transportation to doctor's visits or going to the grocery store Jerome loved helping others. He was also an accomplished wood worker, having pursued the hobby for many years.

Jerome is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann (Larry) Antemann, two grandsons Neal (Lisa) Antemann, Christopher (Claire) Antemann, and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Ryan.
