Eric Tod Pape of Warrenville, Illinois, age 49, died unexpectedly at home in his sleep on September 1st.

Eric was born on August 22nd, 1972 in Skokie, Illinois to Donna and Richard Pape and was raised in Westchester, Illinois. He graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor's degree in technical management and was a manufacturing assistant at Holman Automotive. He was extremely involved in the community, teaching confirmation classes at Trinity Lutheran Church, and passionate about volunteering for Neighborhood Food Pantries. He was also a devoted member of the Sunday Dads Dungeons and Dragons group, and the best warrior monk the campaign ever saw. He was a loving husband, nurturing father, kind human, and a fun and unapologetically weird man.

His family cannot express how much they will miss him. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Tyler Alan Pape (1994-2005). Eric was survived by his wife, Jennifer (DeFalco) Pape, his daughters Kayla and Alyssa Pape, his parents Richard and Donna Pape, his brother Mark Pape and sister-in-law Patricia Pape, and his nieces and nephews, Julia, Evie, Ash, Matthew, and Aidan.

There will be a memorial service at 12:00 Noon on September 11th, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3S460 Curtis Ave., Warrenville, Illinois 60555.
