Cathy Byers, a longtime resident of Warrenville, born in Villa Park, Illinois on February 14, 1926 departed on June 25, 2020.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Irwin, her parents John & Maud Dekker. She is survived by one daughter Judy Greco, son David (Nelda), and son Alan. She had four grandchildren: Ann & Trent Byrne, Mary & Chris Chaney, David & Jelena Byers, and Caroline & Ben Stover. Five great-grandchildren: Aidan Byrne, McKenna Byrne, Rosalie Chaney, Ava Stover and Daniel Byers.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 28, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, 2020, at 12:00 Noon at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois. Due to social distancing requirements, this service is limited to immediate family and close friends. Masks must be worn. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
