Ernst C Meyer, a resident of Overland Park, KS, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, February 19th 2013 at the age of 86.

He was predeceased in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Nancy Meyer, and leaves behind two daughters, Barbara and Cindy, Son-in-law Tom, and grandson Christopher.

Ernie retired from AT&T. He was a man who loved the Lord. Both he and Nancy led the Young People's Group, as well as taught Sunday School, and led the music at church. He was blessed with the gift of music and enjoyed entertaining with his arrangements for choir and instrumental solos at church. Piano was what he loved the most, entertaining everyone within hearing distance by playing beautiful hymns or jazz. 

At home he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife Nancy and daughters Barbara and Cindy. He said he was always proud of his girls. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
