Clarice M. Archer, age 58, a resident of Joliet, IL, died Monday, December 17, 2012, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Care in Joliet, Illinois. She was born February 15, 1954 in East Chicago, Indiana to Norbert and Francis Bednarek.

Clarice graduated from Sandburg High School and worked at First Federal Bank downtown Chicago for several years and then served at Bethel Bible Church in the past as Sunday School Teacher, Awana Club leader, in Vacation Bible School and presently as church secretary for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Archer of Joliet,one son, Jason Archer, one daughter, Heather Archer, one grandson, Nathan Archer, her father, Norbert Bednarek, three brothers, John Bednarek, Martin Bednarek and Bradley Bednarek, and her sisters, Mari Webster, Fran Dutter and Faith Hammortree.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, from 5-7 p.m. at Bethel Bible Church, 3225 W 96th St., Evergreen Park, IL 60805, where a funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs. Friends should gather at the Archer Ave. entrance.
