Burt Ishman, age 76, a resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, died October 27, 2012, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois.  He was born October 23, 1936 of Merle and Edith (Hetrick) Ishman in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania. Burt served in the United States Air Force, was a former Director of Network Security for then Amoco Oil and an avid investor and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ishman of Glen Ellyn, daughters Allison Ishman Blanchard of Bollingbrook, Illinois and Stacey Ishman of Baltimore, Maryland; brother L. Perry Ishman and sister Andrea Yohe of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania; grandsons Benjamin and David McCarthy of Baltimore, Maryland and many more loving relatives.

A visitation will be held November 1, 2012 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187 where a funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
